Here is the place where the Carpathians meet the skies and you are to enjoy one of the most amazing views. The way back you are to walk on the Bear Abyss where nature offers its utmost spectacle.

You will travel a distance of less than 200 km away from the noisy Bucharest where you encounter serenity, scenic and delicate waterfalls ( 7 Stairs Canyon) and a beautiful peak of Piata Mare ( Romanian translation - Big Rock). The mountain trails that you are going to fall in love with are in the woods of Brasov county.
It is a day trip and you are going to spend most of the day trekking, the route is marked and your guide is experienced. Hence, you are to get the best of this hiking adventure.

What would you experience during this hiking day?
It is a one day hike like a life journey. You leave the tumultuous city of Bucharest behind at 6 o’clock in the morning (the morning hour might change to an earlier time, as per your guide advice. Anyway be off your hotel for pick up at least 10 minutes earlier than established schedule). You will travel through Ploiesti, one of the first oil refineries in Europe, drive along Prahova Valley seeing Bucegi Mountains at a distance. Pass by Sinaia, Bucegi, Azuga, Predeal, Timisul de Jos, and the road carries you higher and higher, left or right as life does.
At Dambu Morii you and your experienced mountain guide are going to change the driving trip to trekking tour through the trails of Carpathians. You will cross small rivers and see the forest changing its colour and vegetation as you get higher and higher. You are going to be accompanied all the way by your mountain guide, who will enrich you with stories, advice, local spirit, and experience.
