Our adventure is going to start early in the morning at 6.00 am when you are going to meet your mountain guide in your hotel reception. Make sure you had plenty of sleep a night before, or in some extreme cases be ready for a short nap in the car as we are going to arrive at about 9 o’clock on our destination.
Afterward, a cable car is going to take us to Babele, a major tourist attraction for both Romanians and foreigners. The legends say that this is a place of spirituality, where sacrifices were made to please Zalmoxes, a Dacian God.
On our way to the Omu Peak, situated at about 2505 m altitude we will admire the Romanian Sphinx as well as Babele and their legends are going to be shared by the guide.
At the altitude of 2505 m, Omu’s Peak represents the highest Peak from Bucegi Mountains and from here you can have a breathtaking view of Romania.
After a day full of stories and new discoveries, you are going to arrive at your hotel at about 09.00 PM.
